r.rhenus SU 138 A is an ester based, mineral oil free, highly doped forming oil for pressing, drawing and stamping operations.

Application

r.rhenus SU138 A is suitable for fine blanking and fine stamping operations of any commonly used steels of fine quality, for instance, tempered steels such as C 35, fine grain construction steels like QStE 420 but also cold extrusion steels like 20 CrMo5, used to manufacture demanding fine blanking parts for the automotive, electrical and leisure industry.

r.rhenus SU 138 A is also suitable for deep drawing and drawing operations of high alloyed materials used on transfer presses as well as on hand feeder presses.

The specific combination of substances provides good wetting ability and adhesiveness of the oil on the metal surfaces. EP additives avoid the risk of material galling and scoring under extreme pressures.
